Peter Dominey leads Church From Scratch in Southend-on-Sea which started in 2002.  They are a network of eleven home based groups spread across a wide area of Southend, a Baptist church plant. Their website is church southend

Since the 2009 house party we have been looking for a second full-time person to lead in the middle of this church plant so Peter Dominey can relocate to the frontiers of the church and lead in catalysing further church planting in the region supported by Baptist funding. But we haven't found that person as yet.How long Lord?

On a separate but related front we are planning to setup a social enterprise called Shared Space. This is a new way of doing things for us, and a bit scary as well as exciting. The idea is to seek the Kingdom through trade in the most marginalised parts of Southend-on-Sea.
