The essence of the Christian Coalition for Urban Mission (CCFUM) is that it achieves most of its work through the activities of its member organisations.

CCFUM therefore acts as a focus for holistic, integral mission in urban areas by:

• adding value to existing agencies and networks
• utilising the strengths of the many sources of support

CCFUM is inclusive of all involved in, and concerned for, Urban Mission, irrespective of theological perspective, denomination, or type of organisation.
