At Bristol Baptist College we are now in the second year of our new Urban Mission and Church Planting course. We have an exciting team which is exploring mission in three of Bristol’s more marginalised areas including multicultural inner city as well as white marginal estates.
Our aim is to develop character and skills for ministry on the streets as well as in church and Christian community. We often find ourselves journeying with those for whom life is very hard and who struggle to keep their heads above water. We are finding an enormous sense of privilege in these friendships with an often surprising sense of the Lord’s presence.
